Deleting DivxTac.dll fixes the character selection freeze, but deleting it makes ascension out of date when you enter in-game.

I tried reinstalling a bunch of times and also fiddling with all provided options of installing. None quite worked.
However, thru Lutris it can be done hassle free and works like a charm. But it does require you to follow its exact instructions! Best of luck fellow Fedorians!
