Simple and sweet Blood Magic Legendary RE
Like quite a few other players, i'd like to see some sort of blood magic added to the game. However, the suggestions I've seen so far were either too complicated or too vague.
My suggestion is as follows:
Whenever you deal damage with a bleed effect, you gain a stack of Blood Magic, stacking up to 5 times. Every stack of blood magic your damaging spell power is increased and mana cost of your spells is reduced by 20% and all stacks are consumed when you cast any spell, but your reduces your healing received from others by 10%.
While at 5 stacks, your drain life spell deals necrotic damage, affects all bleeding targets within range and cannot be interrupted.
Necrotic damage is a combination of shadow and bleed damage, and will benefit from the highest modifier to either damage type.
This RE would open up a lot of possibility to play as a bleeding/caster build with a strong concept while not being too complicated.
Because the cost reduction works for any spell and is consumed when used, but does not increase healing power it discourages using any actual healing spells while not actively punishing you for using such a spell.
Because the spell damage of any spell is increased by the blood magic effect, any type of damaging spell can be used effectively with the enchant depending on build.
@Daemy I like your suggestion, too. It really taps into the "San'layn assassin" concept from Wrath. Right off the bat, it would be perfect alongside the Twilight, Blades of Blood and Bloodbath epic REs.
