    • Serpent Spread Epic RE

      Your Multi-Shot now spreads Serpent Sting to all targets successfully hit. Requires Serpent Sting to be active on at least one target nearby to spread.

      This was an old Survival Hunter passive back in Cataclysm intro patch. Brought a lot of utility to the class and was very useful and fun.

    • Holy Vindicator Legendary RE

      Divine Storm now has a 100% chance to apply Vindication to all targets hit. Additionally, your Heart of the Crusader talent will also cause a Holy Fire-like effect on all targets affected with Vindication. You now also can gain up to two additional stacks of Swift Retribution.
      {This effect scales with Holy Fire damage modifiers but does not apply any effects from other sources like talents or RE's such as the Divine Fury Talent/RE's.}

      My thought process behind this RE:
      This would make an ideal paladin legendary with tons of synergies and different playstyles. Being able to spec into the holy fire stuff without worrying about trying to cast it is nice, along with having it be present on multiple targets. The additional stacks of Swift Retribution give a little bit more scaling to the attack power bonus you'll have on smite and holy fire from the capstone. (Each stack grants 5% attack power scaling, so you'd have 5 stacks total for 25% instead of the normal 15%) I'd love to still be able to cast holy fire on a target as well if I so desired. So I don't think a total new spell is necessary here.

      Here are the talents I'm referencing in case you're not familiar:

      Heart of the Crusader - Your judgements deal bonus holy damage to all targets within 8 yards. This effect scales with modifiers to judgements.
      Vindication - Your Holy spells and Paladin melee abilities have a 50% chance to apply vindication to the target. Your attack power and holy spell damage is increased whenever you deal holy damage to a vindicated target.
      Swift Retribution - Your judgements and Crusader strike grant you stacking spell haste and attack speed by 3% stacking up to 3 times. Your smite and holy fire gain 5% of your attack power scaling per stack.

    • Wrath of the Righteous Epic RE

      Your Hammer of the Righteous is now usable by any weapon and will apply your active seal twice. Each target hit with Hammer of the Righteous reduces the cooldown of Avenging Wrath by 1 second. [Only the direct hit from HotR will reduce the cd of Avenging Wrath, not the seal damage]

      {If a two-handed weapon is being used, reduce the damage to 2.5 times your weapon damage, instead of the normal 3.5 times.}

      My thought process on this RE:
      There are no supporting RE's for Avenging Wrath currently, and it has always been a Paladin staple and I would love to see more angel wings more often. HotR can hit up to a max of 3 targets, meaning at most 3 seconds can be taken off every 6 seconds. 5 seconds with RE's. This of coarse only is if there are 3 targets to hit. So you'll at the very least be taking 1 second off if its a solo boss fight. Also I love this ability and the synergy is brings with different talents/RE's. However being limited to one-handed melee weapons is a draw back for sure.

      I originally was going to design something similar to the Deconstruct Epic that changes the function of Devastate, to not require defensive stance/etc. But I decided that this was a much more streamline approach. Let me know your thoughts 🙂

    • Legendary RE Big Bad Voodoo

      You learn the power of Voodoo from the ancient Loas granting you powerful boons.

      Your summoned snakes from Snake Trap can trigger the Capstone from Nature's Reach, allowing them to spread Insect Swarm to nearby targets. Additionally, snakes can now apply the Master Poisoner buff (Rogue) to affected targets.

      Your Holy Wrath spell is transformed into Poison Nova, dealing a small amount of nature damage to all targets hit, but no longer stunning undead or demons. Poison Nova will consume any active Insect Swarms it comes into contact with, causing it to deal additional massive nature damage over 3 seconds

      Additionally, your Savage Combat (Rogue) talent now increases your total melee attack power and spell power by 2%, and increases all types of damage done to targets you have poisoned by 4%. (Requires the final rank of Savage Combat) And Master Poisoner also allows your Insect Swarm not to be consumed if present on the target when Poison Nova deals damage.


      Limitations :
      Will not work with the Bountiful Wrath epic RE

      My Thoughts and the Breakdown:
      Overall this would be a very fun enchant to play, obviously. Who doesn't want to fulfill that Voodoo witch doctor style fantasy? That aside, I had several iterations I came up with in my head before I settled on this one. I originally had wanted to use spells that completely fit the theme of this class. I was going to use the Fire Nova ability shamans have, originally; and turn that into poison nova. But I got away from it the more the design became less about totems, as reprogramming Fire Nova to not need a totem would be annoying for the Devs I'm sure.

      I also found that I really liked the animation for Holy Wrath as the aoe style for a poison nova in my head. The way it fires out as bolts to each target reminds me almost of a fang-like attack. Turn it green and it will fit the theme even better. The other dilemma I was having that got me on this path was the lack of interactions with Snake Trap, which is one of my all time favorite abilities in the game. The only enchants and talents seem to be just about summoning more snakes.... which is great.... but nothing cool like how the Fire Watch legendary gives the other traps more purpose.

      This would be a very strong aoe build, giving love to several fun abilities in a new way. I would be fine with this also only being a pve enchant if we feel it's too powerful for pvp. Let me know your thoughts in the comments! I hope you all like it 🙂

    • Shapeshift changes

      A few more abilities should be useable while shapeshifted, at the very least for cat form.

      Sprint (even if you want it to just share a cooldown with Dash, it wouldn't be busted to allow the player to stay in cat form to activate it. It can still take you out of prowl though) [Bear and Cat]

      Recuperate (there's no support from talents or RE's from this so it would be very balanced just allowing it to be casted while shapeshifted) [Bear only] @Vulpinenin has shown me the error of my ways.

      Slice and Dice (This change would be so beneficial to feline dps and make many rotations feel much better) [Cat only]

      Hunter's Mark (This ability can already be used while stealthed.... so it's already meant to be used as an ambush set up. Allowing ferals to use it would greatly add to the pet synergies already in the game from these last few patches. [Cat mainly, but bear should be fine too]

      @Kyusthr33 sadly I cannot show or link the proof to you because they reset the threads on the Forums with the season change; but a couple things have been changed in game that I have submitted.

      I told them a while back that they should add a "sales" tab in the online store because originally it was all just random and the filters barely worked. They updated the store after commenting on my post the next day. (Small but was still neat to see it happen)

      I also posted a while back about how bad the screen flare originally was whenever you'd level up. It would flash all over your screen with every single possible spell you gained access to. I complained saying I had died several times because I couldn't see what I was even fighting and they thanked me for the feedback and changed it within two days.

      Most of the things I've seen passed through the forums honestly are more quality of life related or major issues with the client itself. Sadly there are a ton of great ideas for enchants, but they can only do so many with the time and staff they have. It becomes a balancing struggle with each new enchant on top of the agenda they already had planned for that season. But if people really want something bad enough we just have to be vocal and polite and I'm sure they will add it in some way or another 🙂

    • Screen Flare on Vanity Items

      I love the flare whenever you learn a new vanity item. However you should be able to right click it to dismiss the first flare. On the basic UI you can't learn the next one because the screen flare covers the "accept to make this soulbound" text box. So you end up waiting like 15 seconds just to equip your next vanity xmog xD

      Not the worst thing in the world, but being able to dismiss the notifications would be nice

      @Vulpinenin overall I really do like this enchant idea and would love to see some variant of it. However it stacking up to 9% healing on autos and 9% more auto damage is quite high. Maybe if it stacked up to a total of 3% and 3% or the enchant itself just did not stack?

      Basic example of: lets say your autos (without critting) hit for around 200 damage. You'd heal for 18 hit points with every swing. Including effects like windfury or the hand of justice trinket. These numbers obviously grow with the increase of damage, as I'm sure you know xD

      It's a ton of free sustain in this current iteration.

      @KaptainKarmac I feel your pain. But the threat improvements we had not too long ago made most things much easier. Normal classic WoW was a nightmare to hold any sort of threat, so I'm glad we at least don't struggle until the dps are hitting huge numbers. Regardless until more changes are implemented try switching out a few REs to boost your threat.

      The "Taunting" uncommon enchants actually draw a lot of threat. I'm running two taunting thunder clap res.
      Another option is the single rare REs like Holy Guardian that increase your threat by 30% with a specific school of magic.

      I would opt to take these REs over the 1% agility ones you have currently. Hopefully this helps!

      @Erasai I don't believe they will implement the enchanting system onto that realm. The enchanting system on normal ascension is based around a free-for-all custom class build. And it links it all together. CoA is the opposite approach and building around the 20 some odd classes and their unique abilities. Different systems that wouldn't really match.

      If they do anything with enchanting in the future it won't look like the current format we know.

      @Ironcloak I'm aware of that RE. And I'm requesting this change for two reasons.

      1. I don't want to be a cat. That would make working with the Unrelenting Wrath RE really tedious and not fun.
      2. The epic enchant bloat is huge and there are far too many choices in current build making lately. Just adding the ability for both melee and ranged hunters is a much more streamlined approach.

      @Viskius Definitely cool and would feel much better for duel wielding builds. But adding onto what Chappinhas said, adding actual weapon damage to Bloodthirst from this enchant too would be really interesting to see.

    • Frenzy Shot into Frenzy Strike

      Frenzy shot is an amazing tool for hunter-like builds that want to give their pet some additional cleave. However there are many melee variants of hunter or hunter/rogue builds with pets that could really use the extra love. I have an Unrelenting Wrath build that I do with melee and it is a ton of fun. But having to do a strange backwards jump to apply Frenzy Shot occasionally feels strange and clunky because we still have a dead zone. So I would love to see Frenzy Strike added to the ability pool and have it function exactly like Frenzy Shot, only melee obviously.

      Currently I have it macro'd into my charge ability which works nicely at the start of fights, but still leaves you trying to time your Charge and the Shot cooldown together, which doesn't always work.

      Noes about this RE:
      Visually speaking I would love to see actual shards or chunks of ice forming around your character. Giving an actual ice armor feeling to this RE as it cycles.

      I also would like for things like Blessing of Freedom or other slow reducing effects to actually effect this enchant. At 10 stacks you will be immobilized, but it would be awesome to occasionally be able to "cheese" your way out of it so you're not completely slowed and able to keep this stacks going from time to time.

      This enchant is very powerful in concept and offers a lot of potential for both Tanking and Dps. Majority of the effects should scale with attack power. That being said I also felt that there are not enough enchants that directly support shield tanks. And with this bolstering your defenses, it fits into a potential sword and board build as well.

      I hope you all like this RE as much as I do, especially since there just really aren't too many really good frost re's in the game in my opinion.

      I love simplistic enchants like this that just allow that power spike you need. I wish more things applied paladin seals honestly. Also this could most likely could be a Rare RE. There's a ton of Epic RE bloat that they should start cleaning up xD

    • CoA Server Support?

      I was wondering if the CoA server has a discord channel we can join and report directly to just like the Wrath server does? I've been wanting to submit suggestions and bug reports while play testing it.

      Also an ongoing issue on the CoA server is the Fel Enchanted War chest does not currently work. All of my vanity items seem to work just fine except for that, and it is frustrating when wanting to start a new character to test out all of the classes.

    • RE: Dungeon Scaling, man - how does it work?

      I think the intended version is that they always scale with you. But things get a little wonky when you're not in a group is my guess. I have ran Stockades like 4 times back to back changing nothing, and suddenly it scales the mobs up on the 5th attempt with no rhyme or reason. I feel your pain on this and hope they implement a fix of sorts, or come out with the Heroic mode thats been in the works for a long while now of even old school dungeons.
