@TastyGM Oh wow it wasn't here the last time I checked, though that was some time ago. I see it's updated to 2.0 also. Thank you so much for this consideration! It runs at a third the GPU usage and a buttery-smooth 60fps everywhere.

RE: This game is utterly Unenjoyable.
@Cheeseberry That you wilfully decided to separate this part of my statement from the rest of the consequences I stated result from this - which ultimately condemn the idea - and making it seem as if I agree with you speaks about bad-faith, low-quality debating more than any wall of text I could write, wouldn't you say?
Administration should understand how these types of interactions work and what they ultimately lead to and display competence in handling them. Some level of irreverence and insulting is normal, but there are forms of it which assemble into organized hate - and they do it precisely because the plausible deniability allows them to grow. Nobody should be arguing about what somebody meant or didn't when they say something inoccuous like "retard", but "I enjoy killing gay people"?! Come on.

Is DXVK allowed?
DXVK is a wrapper that makes DX titles run in Vulkan instead. It is popular with many games and also usable on a few MMOs. The advantages of running DX9 through Vulkan should be obvious since the API is old and doesn't take advantage of modern multithreaded rendering and other optimizations present in VK. Case in point, running an RTX 3070 I still cannot get over 45 fps in SW during rush hour.
My concern is DXVK being picked up as unofficial game modification / cheating. Because if there isn't any problem with it then I will happily switch over.
To be clear, I am asking about DXVK on Windows.
