New updates breakings some addons
The new updates seems to break some addons, In particulars those that consider your classe, like Healbot.
Before, Every character was conisdered a Druid (thats why every one in your party was an orange dot on the minimap).
Now, every one is a white dot. since there is no white color associated with any class, even in retail, we can assume that even in the code now we all are really classless.
Can someone manage to fix Healbot (really need that as a healer). Don't know if that is even possible. Just please, I know there are other way to heal, but none are as practical as healbot.

Str+Int gear in raid
Hey, did some raids in TBC and realise their is no Str+int item dropping. Build who need those item exist (like mine champion of justice and I suspect many more)
I looked, there is a set for each tier, but from every boss table there is only one item that give Str+int item (its a masse from gruul's lair) Not a single piece of armor, ring cloack, etc.
So It would be cool to add some Str+int items in the loot table for raids. There are many in mythic+ there is with tier token, but its kinda sad when what you want is to raid and the only items that is good for your build is the tokens that everyone need.

Update: so today they changed it, now you can still use your RE (thats better) but the debuff is now 3% per item. That is even worst. I'm saying again, why do you want lvl60 green item to be better than the most difficult raid item from vanilla.
Please remove that debuff or please explain to us why was it so important to make those difficulte to ear item irrelevent?
Twisting presence (vanilla items in TBC)
Like many, I moved from Malganis to Area52 to discover that your epic item from vanilla do not work fully in TBC. Their RE do not work and you had a debuff -5% dmg when having one equipped.
Today, im prestiging and I discover that NOW you dont have only -5% debuff, you have -2% per item. Do not know if that was a bug before to make it only -5% but now its -32%.
One of the best thing the Burning Crusade expension had comapare to all other expansionwas that it did not invalid completly what was before, you could do the first Raid in full Naxx gear.
Due to prestige, Ascension was even better at keeping the past expension relevent trough lvling gear. I would understand if the debuff was in PVP for balancing issue, but it is not.
Right now, I can go prestige in PVP with my Nax gear and destroy every one, but I can't in PVE, what? because its unfair to the mobs?
Sorry, I do not understand that descision. Undo it or do it only in PVP but damn the fact that your epic gear is worst than grey quality item feels so bad.
Guiding new player
I often prestige and I see many new players lost. For Veteran WoW or Ascension player, picking a build or making one is easy to them, but not to new player. At lvl 10, the game asks you to create a build or pick one already made, but for new player, this is too much.
This is a kill screen, when you see all theses talents pages and all theses lvling builds option that would take hours to read them all, some new player will read, most of them will choose at random but many of them will just close the game and never open it again.
My solution is to make 4 new options from the 2 you have (create or take a existing player build). Theses 6 options should not be shown at lvl 10, but at lvl 1. For new player, I suggest Ascension make 4 builds made and presented by the devs (or from players approved by the devs). Those lvling build would be the 4 main roles we see: a Tank, a healer, a melee DPS and a ranged DPS. That would inform all new player that theses are the 4 roles they are expected to play in WOW.
Those roles should be very generic lvling build but viable at lvl max. Really simple to play without the need to make macro or download addons.
The tank could be The Knight: a simple tank with physical habilties from Warrior and paladin skills/talent.
The Healer could be The Cleric: A simple Aoe healer with mostly habilites from Priest and maybe chain heal and tranquility.
The melee DPS could be The Assassin: A simple melee DPS with mostly rogue skills/talent
The Range DPS could be The Wizard: A simple range DPs with Mage, Balance druid and elemental chaman skills/talent.
I think that would help a lot to retain new player.
Hi, I have some suggestion about felforge
It is a amazing concept, but please extend the duration. Been rerolling skill for hours in an events that last only 3 days (and not even the whole weekend) to get my stupid judgement.
That bring me to my second point, make first 20 lvl free pick and the rest random. The most efficient ways to have a spell I want is to get myself killed over and over so I get 3 reroll then dont have the spell I want and do it again and again.
and PS, make seals comme with a judgement,, having just one of thoses spells but not the other is stupid.

I like you idea of healing getting stronger the closer you are to your targer, but im not sure its the best way, because, you would be a worst healer when it comes to heal the ranged (or you stay range and priorise on healing the other range). But I prefer that then nothing.

I agree with you with all you said, except the self healing.
The self healing is an issue only if you actually go and melee the boss, or go melee in pvp. As you said, you don't even use crusader strike, because you don't need too, you are not rewarded for doing the melee part of the melee healer build. I mean, you are not rewarded enough. If I stay range, I completly agree with you, but I really want to always be in melee and not feel stupid for it.
For the rest, I'm not talking about the power of the spec, but just talking about quality of life improvement (and the 2h possibility). This buils is strong enough. But as you said, if its that easy to get your stack, why is there a stack mecanic? its a remnant of an hold version of this build that did not work.
For the beacon of light, why Ascension buffed the duration of almost every buff, why they made paladin seal not have a duration: for the quality of life. Having to recast it every minute is not fun, its annoying. yeah, its not hard, but that is not the point.
In the end, im asking you this, the things that bother me do not bother you, I get, butwould those changes im proposing bother you?
PS: after a few day with no answer I lost hope it would interest people, but thank you for you comment, I welcome all opinion and encourage the discution, All I want is that we find the best version we can.
Improving Champion of justice thematic
TLDR: Remove the annoying stack mecanics, boost a little bit the self healing (or increase duration of beacon of light pls pls pls), and make a two-handed variation of the build. But pls read the rest.
Hi, Have to say I Love the champion of justice legendary. Its my dream build since I started playing wow 14 years ago and I’m so thankful that ascension made this possible. I have been playing almost only this since I started on the server a year ago and I have a few idea to improve its gameplay.
First: the 3 stack mechanic and here I’m just talking quality of life. Since the change that added holy shock, the build is now playable, even strong, and that’s great. But now you have to ask yourself, why is there a stack mechanic. All that does is when you are out of combat, you cast holy shock on yourself every 15-20 sec to keep your stack. That is just annoying, but necessary. Its is the most annoying in raid or BG where you can mount, cause you need to dismount, cast holy shock and remount. 2 solutions: 1- remove the 3 stack mechanics. 2- make that casting judgement give you the effects of the 3 stacks.
Second: The self heal. The biggest weakness of this build is the self healing, and you know what, that is fair. A build that can do some dps and heal as much must have a weakness, especially in PVP. But this weakness is so intense it goes against the thematic of the build: a melee healer. Cause you cannot keep yourself alive and you do almost as much heal from far away, you are incentivised to not play the melee part of this melee healer build. 3 solutions: 1- make that you can adorned yourself, but for half the amount of heal. 2- the heal procs form melee attack is negligible and doesn’t affect you, make it better and make it affect yourself way more. 3- make that beacon of light last more than 1 min.
Sorry for that tangent on beacon of light, but having to recast it every minute is a pain. Yes I know you can have some RE that give it more time, but player will never trade player power for quality of life and RE are so important you cannot do it. You did so much quality of life in this server, Seals are permanent, buffs like battle cry last 30min instead of 5, that’s so great. In wrath it’s a pain, but its worth it for 100% transfer, but now its only 40%, that’s ok but Pls I’m on my knee , make beacon of light last 30m, 1 hour or have no duration like in Retail this not a player power buff, its just quality of life, PLS!!! ok tangent over.
Third: Variation. All the competitive build of champion of justice uses a one-handed weapon with the combo holy retribution + pious strike combo. It’s a great build and it is really personal, but I Like the fantasy of a single two-handed weapon, and I find Divine storm feels way better to cast than hammer of the righteous. Would like a two-handed variation of the build, but its not close to be as good even with the vanquishing storm RE (that boost divine storm healing by 15%). 3 solutions: 1- make a purple Re that boost the two-handed variation, probably boosting the healing of divine storm even more by making it scale with healing power (right now its scale only with the divine storm damage). 2- Make healing proc from melee greater with two handed weapon, 3-make a similar RE than pious strike that work with divine storm instead (that one would be hard to balance, but really cool).
