Huh, I hadn't considered that when looking at the Mana Forged Barrier ability on Mal'Ganis. I tried making a Strength-based tank that made heavy use of spells in its rotation (by way of Maelstrom Weapon procs and instant cast spells, plus Mana Shield on cooldown) and supported by passive mana regen (Seal/Judgement of Wisdom + 3/3 Judgements of the Wise, etc.) but the survivability wasn't good enough to get into BC content.
I wonder if the Arcane Mage talent "Arcane Fortitude" capstone could be changed to "Increase your block value based on spell power" instead of boosting armor from cloth.
