High Risk Suggestion
I'd love to get feedback here from others who have played high risk:
The idea is to create marks similar to the raid drops that correspond to an item slot. Each High Risk Mark would upgrade an bloodforged piece of gear of the correct armor slot +1lvl. When you die in high risk you lose between 2-8 of these marks from gear you have on, reducing their Item level but not getting rid of them entirely. In this system I think you would want to make it so people could lose enchants, mystic enchant's as well, but at a lower chance, and the character getting them would get them as scrolls instead of the whole item. This pretty drastically changes the itemization and so I'd love to hear how you guys think that would affect different things, but the goal is to have more people in those high risk zones, and without the risk of losing your gear but the potential to simply downgrade/upgrade it I think we'd get a lot for participation.
As part of this I think you would want to create "high risk zones" that became hotspots and rotated every 30m/1hr. These hotspots would have the monsters in that area turned into level 60 elites, have the drop chance for the high risk materials increased slightly and have the craft professions stuff like mining etc also increase. Help focus everyone to a part of the zone each hour hopefully increasing players seeing and fighting, without the scary "lose your good gear" which I think isn't the true heart of what I would want out of high risk. (The potential to have my gear lose value, but be able to get it back up is alluring).
