Unable to delete dead challenge character

I was working on a challenge last night and died, logged off due to frustration. I logged in today to attempt to delete character (as Crafter's Curse does not allow for respawn). I am unable to delete the character due to it saying that there is shop mail on her. There should be no mail unopened in her mailbox.

Character is Zylia on Archimonde.
