Deathbringer RE Revamp
I'm really enjoying the Deathbringer RE as a parry tank base but I feel it can be upgraded to give more tanking utility while making it more thematic and fun.
Your single target damaging abilities have a chance to drain the life force of your target, dealing additional Shadow damage and returning a portion of it to you. This effect scales with your Drain Life ability. Any target struck has a individual 3 second cooldown.
Teaches Death and Decay
Instant cast 15 sec. cd 271 Mana
Invokes the malignant power of death and decay, inflicting Shadow damage to all enemies in a selected area for 15 sec.
Corruption damage tiks grant Death’s Fortification, 1 stack per tik. Each tik of damage grants 150 armor. Each stack of Death’s Fortification last for 20 seconds. (cannot be used with Aegis RE)
Converts Soul Drain into Unbounded Soul Drain
Soul Drain’s damage is reduced by 20% but is now useable while moving and has increased threat.
Converts Drain Life into (a channeled Finishing Move)
Finishing Move that consumes combo points on your target to reduce the channeling time of Drain life and increase the amount drained per combo point:
- Reduce Channel time by 15% and increase Health Drained 10% for 2 sec.
- Reduce Channel time by 30% and increase Health Drained 20% for 4 sec.
- Reduce Channel time by 45% and increase Health Drained 30% for 6 sec.
- Reduce Channel time by 60% and increase Health Drained 40% for 8 sec.
- Reduce Channel time by 75% and increase Health Drained 50% for 10 sec.
**The increase in Health Drained also applies to Deathbringer single target heals
Question for discussion - Does Healing power affect the heals generated from single target abilities using this legendary RE. If it doesn't then this RE can make it so that healing power does increase resultant heal. I ask because I'm currently using the Divinity talent (3/3) and single target attack heal is the same with Divinity or with out it.
