I've been playing this RE and its been great so far. The only thing that doesn't fit well is including Vampiric Touch. I know that the build is mana heavy as Darkness procs don't always line up with a 5 point combo finisher. Which is where the small mana regen comes in useful. However, with only a 15 sec duration its really only enough time to maybe proc one Mind Blast for a small mana boost. I think a better option would be to replace Vampiric Touch with Howl of Terror. Not only is it more thematic but it would also tie in nicely with the new Howl of Terror Re Psychic Barrage. Being a Worgen and roaring in the middle of a trash pack causing Mind Blast damage would really make this RE roar!

I'm really enjoying the Deathbringer RE as a parry tank base but I feel it can be upgraded to give more tanking utility while making it more thematic and fun.
Deathbringer
Your single target damaging abilities have a chance to drain the life force of your target, dealing additional Shadow damage and returning a portion of it to you. This effect scales with your Drain Life ability. Any target struck has a individual 3 second cooldown.
Requires:
Corruption
Soul Drain
Drain Life
Teaches Death and Decay
Instant cast 15 sec. cd 271 Mana
Invokes the malignant power of death and decay, inflicting Shadow damage to all enemies in a selected area for 15 sec.
Corruption damage tiks grant Death’s Fortification, 1 stack per tik. Each tik of damage grants 150 armor. Each stack of Death’s Fortification last for 20 seconds. (cannot be used with Aegis RE)
Converts Soul Drain into Unbounded Soul Drain
Soul Drain’s damage is reduced by 20% but is now useable while moving and has increased threat.
Converts Drain Life into (a channeled Finishing Move)
Finishing Move that consumes combo points on your target to reduce the channeling time of Drain life and increase the amount drained per combo point:
Question for discussion - Does Healing power affect the heals generated from single target abilities using this legendary RE. If it doesn't then this RE can make it so that healing power does increase resultant heal. I ask because I'm currently using the Divinity talent (3/3) and single target attack heal is the same with Divinity or with out it.

I agree the bashing animation does not fit. Would love the stabby animation much better. Would also be nice if Shield Strike were usable in Righteous Fury stance. The RE is a solid concept.

I'm playing this character as a caster pally, an Inquisitor type holy Battle mage down on the front lines with the tank. I'm running her with One with the Light but it feels rather meh compared to fully concept LRE's like Dragon Warrior or Consecrated Strikes. Also, Holy Fire is supposed to by the capstone ST spell of this LRE, but even at full stacks its rather mediocre. So I looked for spells and ideas that would fit and could included into the Full concept LRE.
Additions to One with the Light LRE:
Righteous Fury (Divine Inquisitor):
Righteous fury is converted into Righteous Fury (Divine Inquisitor). This stance increases your Holy spell damage by 30% of your Stamina. While this stance is active your threat generated is reduced by 5%
and
Holy Fire - Consuming 10 stacks of Holy Specialization on Holy Fire, causes an explosion on impact increasing the initial damage by 50% and causes your target to spread the Holy Fire damage over time to all targets within 8 yards
