Error with getting to character selection screen

Getting the error, "Interface\GlueXML\CharacterSelect.lua:191:attempt to call global 'GetRealmMaintenance' (a nil value)". I've looked around the forums and found a solution that involved deleting "Patch-O", but my data folder doesn't even contain a Patch-O. Any help is greatly appreciated thank you.

@Raymonator Hey there! This can also be caused by your antivirus blocking our DLL files. Can you try to add the whole ascension client folder to the exceptions and run client repair via the cogwheel menu of our launcher?

@TastyGM I completely reinstalled both the launcher and the game, I added exlcusions for every folder and file related to ascension, and I also completely disabled my antivirus. But the issue is still persisting.
