Everyone has a profession, but I honestly think that Skinning, Mining and Herbalism are not very popular.
Therefore, I would like to suggest that these ptofeses could produce an item that would be account bound and would lend the possibility to collect these materials.
For example, I have Mining on a character I don't play as and I have Mining at 375/375, so this character could produce this item so that I can collect/mine as a Mining master for the character I play the most
This item should be upgraded as a profession (Apprentice - Journeyman - Expert - Artisan - Master - Grand Master) but it only allows you to collect materials (Mining = no smelting)
And so that players who have this profession are not impoverished, they could learn a passive ability that would allow them to collect/mine faster and +50% material to obtain

Do you play High Risk? Because those are really popular professions with High Risk players.
