LFG / Looking For Group channel

Why isn't there a LFG channel for any group related content?

General chat on Area 52 is cluttered with "your mom" jokes and the likes. General chat is fine for general interactions, but I think LFG could do with a dedicated channel.

I understand that the "Premade Groups" function under the Dungeon Finder is being worked on.
But having a dedicated channel for LFG in the meanwhile seems like a convenient option to me.

How does the community feel about this?

While I think it would be convenient for all "Looking For" chat to be on its own channel, I don't think the Ascension community is large enough to warrant that just yet. There aren't enough people creating events at the same to 'overload' Ascension chat.

I would like the Looking for Raid option to be put on the same page as the Dungeon Queue. The fact that it's hidden on [O] raid tab, instead of [I] LFG tab makes me think that a lot of people are missing out on PuG raiding.

The /1 channel is filled with smack talk, dick "jokes" and what not. I mean: I like to joke around as well but this is just unfunny. Yes there are LFG messages in there, but they get easily overlooked by all the nonsense in the same channel. I think introducing a LFG channel would be a good idea, in my opinion it would increase the amount of players posting LFG messages as well.

I've been looking at raid tab for days, but never does anything ever show up in there. I tried signing myself up on there, and I do show up as a player... So it does work. It just does not get used?
