Northrend Travel Guide

Well, I thought the travel guide opened up Northrend access IN the Area 52 server where I have my toons and purchased the guide. Instead, it grants me access to a server with Northrend where I can start a new toon at level 70. No gold. No vanity mount access. No guild access. Totally new toon. My question is, will this Grizzly Hills server be merged in the future and allow me to move my toons to Area 52?

@DannyDemonic Hello there Danny! For now, Grizzly hills is Alpha realm for WoTLK testing. In the future, I could imagine Area 52 progressing to WoTLK.

@xander2020 buy in game (AH) for gold or buy in donate shop (100 DP ? )

@xander2020 like the guy above said, it needs to be purchased from either our store or any auction house in the game.

@DannyDemonic I think the general plan is for Area 52 to progress to WoLK content, but the idea behind Grizzly Hills is simply to test out the content before the server goes public.

If Area 52 remained as a BC realm and Grizzly Hills became the active LK server, characters would most likely be wiped; otherwise, you would have an advantage over other players who had to start from level 1.

@DoubleDiamond This is most likely going to be the case. Area 52 will progress to WoTLK once it is ready.

Does this build include the Deathknight class talents/abilities?

Thanks, but I think not because I cannot find any mention of DK being available, which leads me to believe it is not.

Hopefully, I am wrong, but I am not going to spend $35.00 USD to find out.
