Mystic enchant tab/manager!
-
Hi, here is a little idea on a way to improve the management of the Mystic enchant!
FIrst of all, i love trying build/spec and i really want to make my own tests on every idea i have.
The spec Tab is perfect you can name it, ad an icon, easy.
But when it comes to mystic enchant thats not the same.
No notes, or icon... "Is that my main DPS spec setup or the AOE version???? Damn that's the heal i've try..." or " so as i remender 1is dps, 2 heal, but what is 3/4/5?"So why not make the same tab as spec but for mystic!!!! plus if you want you can match spec 01 with mystic 01...
A quick look on what i've imagine.
Let me know what you think.
Best,
All insatiable players.

@Armadragon I think there is a better way to do it, but it would involve fundamentally changing how mystic enchants work:
What if instead of applying mystic enchants to pieces of gear, they're applied to the slot instead. This means that if you were to change the item, the enchant would stay as it is, until you change that slot's enchant at an altar. Think something similar to how the transmog system works.
This would allow different specs to have different sets of enchants that are independant of gear pieces - they could be part of the spec, and be swapped automatically upon switching the spec.
To keep it consistent with how the system works currently, if you don't have an item equipped in a certain slot (say, offhand), then the enchant for that slot would be red and inactive.
Mystic enchantment presets would function a little differently - they would be presets for the same spec - so for example if you have preset 1 and 2 unlocked, you'd have 2 presets for EACH of your specs - for testing, AoE, Single target variants etc.
There is however the problem of people selling enchants on the AH - maybe they could still be put on scrolls to make trading them possible, but not on gear? This would also help keep gear prices more consistent, because they wouldn't have RE's on them.
This would make the system way more user-friendly and easier and quicker to use than it is now, with each spec needing its own preset slot if it's sharing gear with other specs - and the presets are bought separately and are pretty damn expensive. This change would devalue preset pages, but I don't see that as a bad thing.

@Vulpinenin That's another solution but i see two major issues.
- The amout of work needed.
If a change is beneficial, you have to involve what it takes.
But revamping the whole mystic enchant system, OH BOY! it implies a lot of deep mutations. If the mystic are not linked to the items, what will be their "form", how do we collect it, change the altar in fonction, you basically change the core of the game... I've seen some post about merging "inscription" with mystic enchant and i find the idea quite good, but it requires a lot...- Financial income.
As a free F2P, they need to have multiple ways of income. By linking the mystic setups to the specs, every body gonna have 2 mystic setup per spec. So execpt very special needs, nobody gonna buy extra preset slots... No sales = no cash = no game.
The point is to make some quick changes to promote this fonction wich is, in my opinion underrated, and i would personnaly invest in if there wasnt this lake of clarity...
But maybe we can make a post about a deeper changes on mystic, share some of our pictures, ideas, concepts. And mainly the name that confuse a lot of beginner with the profession.
