I would love it if you added later locations to the Game, ie Mount Hyjal and a Catalysm versions of locations, as well as the original. Also to add other Classes and Races, like Monks and Wargens. This would be a Post Wotlk and COA idea. But it would expand the world.
PS I know it would require ALOT of work to make it fit, but it would be cool regardless.

For example, Fire Aura provides Fire Spell Damage, and Aura Mastery increases the provided from the Aura by 100% for its duration.
Increases the damage of a spell or ability by a percentage, when in melee or short range.
For example, Pointblank Shadow Bolt: Increases Damage of Shadow bolt by 2% when with 2 yrds of the Target.
@Fugus I was more so thinking killing a specific amount of a specific enemy, for a one off bonus or a repeatable. Rather than every kill providing a reputation bonus. Kind of a dumb idea but it will be one way to make leveling through the first prestige, or level up a reputation, faster.
I will admit this is a long shot, and a wierd idea, but it is a random idea.
But here it is, adding in challenges, similar to Fallout New Vegas, Kill a specific enemy provides Experience and/or Reputation of a faction, or even a Passive.
This may have been said before, but it would be cool to have a Mastery statistics, like in current wow. Which the player chooses at a later level to provide even more customisation of the character. Like Holy Paladins Lightbringer, Increases healing done by up to 12.00%, based on the proximity of your target.

I just thought of a way to differentiate different build drafts by giving each on a different pets, demon or elemental. For example a Tank Hunter having a Bear etc.

When you are killing loads of enemies sometimes it can be a nightmare to look through all of the corpses for one that you have not looted, and I know that there is the pet to loot but still.

I would love to see the addition of more multi schools like Radiant and Twilight.
For extra flavour adding Radiant Damage to some of the Paladin abilities.
Twilight on Discipline Priest abilities, etc.
