Are Mana-forged tanks viable?

Without really taking the time, and gold, to figure this out in game...I figured I'd raise the topic here. Are any mana-forged tanks actually viable?
It's an awesome concept and has some great synergy with a number of REs...but at the end of the day, can any builds actually manage Mythic+? Better yet, any raids of any difficulty?
Curious for some community thoughts.

@Tyrri I feel like that's part of the problem. Mana-Forged tanking seems like it would require some pretty specific combinations of abilities but is only available on the server that restricts your ability to freely choose your abilities.
