Lich King Release

Now that there has been Lich King Alpha out for a while now, when can we expect an official release of Lich King Server?

I can't speak on the developers' behalf, but I've seen a few conversations about it in-game that have come to the conclusion that it will take a while.
There's still Tempest Keep, The Isle of Quel'Danas, etc. that they still haven't released. Plus, more seasons in between now and Lich King means it could be a year or two. Don't quote me on that, though.

My guess would be @Gnoly is right. The devs are probably going to stick to the release schedule for BC before even attempting to launch LK as a live server.
