Instance Level Scaling Removal?
-
Is there a way to not have the dungeons scale with the player level? I've be soloing all the dungeons from vanilla as a completion/gameplay mode and it isn't really doable now.

As far as I know they only scale up to 60 on Area-52, so they are completely solo-able at 70, in fact I've done quite a few myself (BRD and Scholomance). If you're having trouble, it might be your gear or your build, for best results get an AoE heavy and tanky build that has lifesteal or heals to sustain yourself while in the dungeon. Stormhammer tank with emphasis on thunderclap and shockwave has worked pretty well for me, even with my shitty ilvl115.

@Vulpinenin
Hey,
I have a well tested tanky sword and board build that I have soloed Scholo (live side)before the update, IL 112. I logged in and reset the instance to do undead side and all the mobs were lvl 70 and the first pack I had to pop some cooldowns, which I didnt have to do before....I have less problems with pack mobs in Ramparts. -
That's strange. They were level 60 for me, while farming some BoP shirts a few weeks ago.
-Are you playing on Area 52?
-Did you set the difficulty to normal?
-Have you somehow activated timewalking? (I have never used timewalking, so I have no idea how it's done)If they updated it to always scale to 70 that would be incredibly stupid.

Timewalking is a server-side effect, not player-activated, if I understand correctly. In my experience, this is most likely what happened. I went to farm Gnomeregan once and all the mobs were 70, which threw me off before I realized that was the timewalking dungeon for the day.
@Kerythan, if you go back today, are the mobs still 70?

@DoubleDiamond yes they are, but I see that Chromie has Strath as the timewalking instance.
I dont see any info as to how often and when it resets
