Muted for "inappropriate /world"

An Ironman player got killed by an imp minion and I said "IMPED" in world chat. A few others did the same. Then I got muted.
Can someone explain why? People do this all the time.

This was definitely not the cause, next time I would recommend staying away from the "funny" an*l spam
