Feedback: Trials and unique playstyles

I want to make some Suggestions based ob my experience with the trials system.
Hope some of you jump on for some living full discussion and maybe we get the Ascension community manager get involved, I get a bit hypes by the trials system.Introduction
Trials allow players to create unique experiences in there game play and character progression (If you don't know them, talk with "Stony Tark" at the start location).
The option to stop natural mana (rage, energy) generation and gain it from skills and items can create a nice immerser play through.
But the power must be held by the players to customise there skills and energy gained sources.An immerse example
Lidia, a young skilled thief, was born with the ability to manifest arcane powers when taking part in intensive combat situations. Enable her to teleport through space, release arcane powers around her and channel them into projectiles.
Lets break this build down
- Main Skills: rogue ability's (agility & energy based character)
- Trails: "Magical Stopper" (no mana regen), "Resolution" (x1 XP), "Murder Hobo" (only kill xp)
- Talents: "Battlemage" (gain mana with AA)
- Abilities: "Blink", "Arcane Missiles", "Arcane Explosion"
- Rotation: rough ability's and mage skills in mix | sometimes get 100% mana to use range mage attacks in the next encounter
In this case, the mana bar get abused as a separate resource pool to reward the player with different play styles.
This is one of many uses how the trails system can create some nice experiences and immersion.
Now lets get into some feedback what must be changed to use this effective.My Suggestion :party:

Allow players to change trails on the run
_-- This allow player to balance there playstyle while experiencing and testing (and the chance to make mistakes are quite high because of balancing issues later on (at the moment, my "Murder Hobo" makes my progression quite slow... but I can not change it without cancel all trails at once )
-- Optional: Delete bonus rewards as soon something at the trails change -
Allow players to with trails to group up and use group systems
--Playing with trails make me lonely... I want also to have friends and group up with others.
Summarized
There are a lot of ideas that come in mind with the trails system.
Who knows, maybe giving players to power to create macros with own cooldown rules to allow the usage of Hamstering every 15 seconds. Or change the mana cost of forst bolt to energy and allow one resource bar to handle all skill costs. Implementing a lightwight script language for players to create there own spells and mind blow stuff! (just dreaming)The combination with the Mystic-System makes many things possible.
