----- Modified Prayer of Preservation build I reached rank 1 m+ & several RF kills with on Thrall-----

This is a detailed guide of my version of PoP and how I play it and some tips and tricks

Step 1. Get a UI like elvui or Vuhdoo to track your Preservation buffs from your PoP. twitch.tv/ahmrila type !ui and !wa in my chat to get my profiles
Turn on Friendly mouseover casting in interface
Below are quickcast for Prayer of Preservation.

      #showtooltip Prayer of Preservation
      /cast [@cursor] Prayer of Preservation

      #showtooltip Halo
      /cast Divine Illumination
      /cast Power Infusion
      /cast Avenging Wrath
      /use ‘’Insert Trinket Name’’
      /cast Halo

      #showtooltip Divine Sacrifice
      /cancelaura Divine Sacrifice
      /cast Divine Sacrifice

The order is correct, just press it twice for it to get the effect you desire.

      Step 2. Spell-kit & Playstyle

Prayer of Preservation: Your main tool, read the LRE if you are unsure what it does.

Flash of Light: Your main ability to proc Preservation buffs.

Holy Shock: Use this ability when u have to move to be able to heal + proc preservation buffs on the run. Also a good tool in m+ to pull packs/mobs if your tank isnt able to

Circle of Healing: Your main AoE heal, I prefer to use this during AoE heavy fights right after a PoP cast to proc a Preservation buff + huge heals

Light of Dawn: Strong AoE heal due to it being able to proc a Preservation buff, prefer to use this after a PoP for huge heals if Circle of Healing is on CD

Divine Star. A good filler heal, most usage in raids

Prayer of Mending: Good filler heal, strong usage before aoe damage due to its continuation in healing even after cast together with other heals

Divine Illumination: Good CD. Check macro at the start

Power Infusion: Either macro it together with Divine ill + Halo, or use it on a spellcasting DPS

Efflorescence: Since you’re all gonna be stacked, this is a great tool before heavy AoE to get 18% Increased Healing, just 1 min CD.

      Avenging Wrath: Really Strong CD

      Step 3. Talents & Abilities

Elemental Oath (Does not stack with Moonkin Aura)

Holy Reach Talent (Better in raids, can be good in m+ aswell)

Swap out Feign death + invisibility to Divine Sacrifice if you plan to raid with PoP.
Some people like to use Tame Dragonkin in every raid spec, but I prefer to not use pets and spend my Talent + ability essence elsewhere.

      Step 4. Gearing & Statweights

Haste > Spell Power > Crit > Int

Haste = Faster spell casts = More Preservation Procs = Less CD on PoP = More healing

Consumables: I use mainly Haste + SP food & flask.

To avoid confussion, your primary stat should be Spirit (Not on gear, but as in the spec itself)!!

      Step 5. Skillcards & Draft

This is mainly my preference and opinion on whats good to card/Hard to roll, and I prefer as many abilities close to 70 due to increased chance during draft to get other abilities from lucky cards thats lower level req.

Starter Abilities: Healing Touch (Due to Overflow being superior in prestiging), Mage Armor Mastery, Life Tap, Blessing of Wisdom.

Normal Skill Cards: Mass Dispel/Avenging Wrath/Invisibility (Invis only required for M+)

Golden Skill Cards: Earthliving Weapon, Prayer of Mending

Normal Lucky Skill Cards: Cleansing Totem, Tremor Totem, Light of Dawn/Feign Death/Cleanse

Golden Lucky Skill Cards: Halo, Avenging Wrath, Beacon of Light/Divine Sacrifice (Dsac if you plan to make it a raid spec)

Other good lucky cards is also: Dispel Curse, Divine Illumination or any of the missing epics from the build.

I don’t recommend PoP in TBC, its generally not as good in TBC as in Vanilla, also got hit by a lot of nerfs since my Rank 1 entry on Thrall Vanilla M+ as well as the healing squish.
