Having problems with Launcher.exe

I attempted to download the new launcher update, but after getting 100%, it doesn't install. If I click on the launcher, it updates again. So, I tried uninstalling the old launcher, and downloading the newer version on the website. Once I click 'run', I get an error: ShellExecuteEx failed; Error 5; Access Denied.
What the heck is that about? Please help.

@Leisenacht Hey! Did you try to remove the launcher completely via the windows built in tool and then get a new setup from our site and run that as an admin?

@TastyGM Yes, I did that. Still get the error of "Access Denied". Don't understand what could be the problem. Old launcher is toast, new launcher won't install. Guess I am not going to be playing for a while.

@TastyGM BINGO! That worked, and thank you very much for that suggestion. Unfortunately, I have to re-download EVERY THING again, but at least it is working.
