PvP Balancing and Shadow Nerfs
Often the balance in PvP swings so dramatically from patch to patch in favor of certain builds the bugs seem almost planned.
Two weeks ago a shadow nerf hit ranged spell dmg hard, every caster was reduced in dmg by half while physical dmg was tuned to do 2.5x as much.
Even players who had typically run casters for years switched to hybrids to regain their dmg, builds like mana fiend suddenly soared in the BG's.
Then, 2 days ago, suddenly casters regained their dmg. No patch notes for either the reduction or increase, just a huge shadow nerf back and forth.
Now physical dmg is set on high and blazing determination is also broken, so rogue builds have soared and are able to easily hold a spellcaster silenced or stunned for the 6 seconds they need to kill them. Dragon warriors are also soaring for the same reasons.
The entire balance of this game mode is turned on end every patch without so much as any patch notes to explain it. Next week it may be ranged hunter builds that soar or melee hybrids or casters again this isn't balance, this is playing hot potato.
