Naturally it might be far away though hypotheticals are entirely possible - I do understand that it might be something the Ascension team might be loathe to discuss as It presents interesting challenges to mitigate and drama.
I'm not looking to start drama but rather take a vested interest in the growth and direction that Ascension will/is taking.
That being said, is custom models or reskins potential candidates for boss loot?

As an edit Ascension offers an incredible amount of custom systems and a very flexible 'earnable in game via gold' system. I think both are excellent additions and I hope you are gaining as much as you are giving, my gf loves what you're doing and I do too.
