After completing resolute challenge, is it possible to prestige with the server's XP rates??

Probably a noob question, but I figured I'd ask.
I've been playing for around a couple of weeks, and made a character under resolute mode. I got to level 57 before I saw information that resolute lasts forever. So even if I complete the challenge and decide to prestige, will I still be in resolute mode? Or will I gain XP at the server's XP rates (plus XP buffs) after I prestige?

I only have a couple of characters, so if it turns out that character is still in resolute, I can just make a separate one for prestige.

You can opt out of any challenges when ever you want, you just have to speak with the same npc that you started the challenge with, the npc is located in any of the same faction starting zone areas, once you reach level 60 you will gain rewards and also at level 70, once you reach those levels if you wish to go back to normal, you can with out repercusion.
