harbringer of pestilence question.

Could someone clarify how the harbringer of pestilence pet damage increase part works?
it says : your wrath increases the damage of diseases from you and your pet by 20% per stack.
What exactly is the interaction with the pet? pets as far as I am aware don't have diseases.
Does it buff any nature dmg from the pet?thanks!

@Kronox Some of the new Undead pets have diseases.
