2 Poison RE Ideas - An attempt at ranged weapon poisons

I know, I know. Poisons on ranged weapon is something that many have opinions about, both for and against. I figured I'd at least try to figure out how to make it somehow doable, but I realize now that it is still a tough thing to balance. Here goes anyway:
My thinking with Hunter's Plight is to make other poisons work like the currently allowed Instant Poison, but to balance it with a cast time and noticeable movement slowing.
So while it does slow your rotation down, you do benefit from the poisons, if you can get them to proc. Worse than regular melee poisons, but hey, you're at a range now and can just jump into melee if you want to apply the poison that way without any of the cast time and movement penalties.
I do note it as 'any ranged weapon' but I'm not sure Wands would be included in that.
This one is probably a bother to program, since you essentially make all the poisons into potions that apply the poison as a buff instead.
The way I'm thinking to balance this one is the fact you still have the "cast time" of applying poison as usual, which might be tough in combat, on top of having the poison only last for 5 shots. I specifically made it at 5 in order to allow for full Deadly Poison output.
It doesn't feel quite as balanced as the Hunter's Plight RE, but I feel it's one way of doing it.Do toss me some feedback about the RE or rant about why you want/don't want ranged weapon poisons.
