So I just overheard a bunch of people talking about how stunlock is still a thing here... why? Especially with the ability to mix and match from every talent and skill tree... why would that be allowed? It essentially just means that some people in a pvp environment, will be able to take all the fight out of their opponents, while they beat the living crap out of them. I would have thought, a pvp-centric game like this would have realized that from the get-go.
Was really looking forward to PvP. Guess I'll give that a hard pass until this is addressed, if ever.
@Uden Kitters, CCers and pillar huggers are PvP cancer of this server. 1 attacking ability 100 other CCs, kite and running away abilitties.
@Eatmyswords Alot of that stuff has ways to be gotten around though, including stunlock, but only up to a point. Stunlock, and fear chain, especially without diminishing returns, (and even with really, because of the way damage scales here diminishing returns doesn't really do anything unless you're a tank class) are pvp killers. Meaning, it just makes pvp not fun for anyone who doesn't use them, leading to cookie cutter classes, and 90% of the skills being unviable in pvp.
