A better way to socially interact

I want this to be a discussion because I don't have a solid solution for solving this issue but more and more in MMORPGs I've been finding MOST of the friction is caused by people playing with the wrong types of people. What do I mean by this? Many casuals end up playing with hardcore players and the hardcore players will get toxic because the casual can't pull their weight. and the casual will get toxic because the hardcore player is a big mean butt man who can't just slow down or explain things because not everyone knows every mechanic. Now a solution to this is guilds but that isn't the best solution particularly if you are picky about those you play with. But, there need to be more solutions to this so people can find their 'group' and enjoy the game infinitely more. Maybe, a social hub you physically have to go to in-game and people can recruit for guilds almost as if it's a trade floor show and you can have reps and sell the idea of your guild to players. Or simply in-game events that encourage more socialisation because as of now myself included most run RDF/BGs until max then they continue to run Raids, RDF, Arena etc... That's simply just a means to an end and it'll be more fun if I could more quickly find a likeminded group to do the content with as I'll start to actually have fun particularly since we'll be playing at a pace that we all prefer.

Just following up on this post one way I just thought of is improving the mentor system because as of now I don't think anyone even knows it's a thing! There should be more advertisements regarding the mentoring system and perhaps, more rewards for being a mentor. I mean the server is complicated enough and it would be a great way for people to make friends because, yes you can just go to a wiki site or use hero architect but, you aren't really learning you're just following instructions at that point.

Personally I've been reporting a lot of people lately for racist chat in world, I also block said people but since the start of this season my ignore list has hit the twenty people mark and still growing. A faster better reaction to these sorts of things would be better IMO. I once was asked by a GM to get screenshots of said chat. I'd already put the guy on block and been away for 15 minutes at that point not to mention I can't get on their Discord.
Just straight out ways to remove obvious toxicity would be great. Like one dude trolling can easily mess up a hundred peoples day and how many of those feel happy enough to log in tomorrow.

@Obeliske I was discussing playstyle more than speech because that's a whole other topic I don't feel like touching. But, it'd be nicer if people who left RDF were punished far more because lately, it's hard to get anything done in-game due to it. I like playing the seasonal realm but none of my friends do so I end up feeling lonely and bored and just leaving and not coming back until the next update.
