Hiring Bounty Hunters?

I have some questions that I want to ask:
-Can I hire anyone to hunt PKers?

-Is DP (in lieu of gold) an acceptable currency?

-Where can I post my offer?

-Am I breaking any rules? Should my offer and terms be outlined as clear as possible to avoid confusion and any violations of Rules of Conduct?

-Am I salty?

You know what? That would be a cool feature. Like in the call boards you could apply to hunt for pkers and outlaws. I imagine it would be hard to implement but sounds fun.

As far as i know you are not breaking any rules, people do that in the oficial blizzard forums, unless they have specific rules here but i doubt.

Salty, meh, they killed you, you pay someone to kill them. Sounds fine to me

What better way to drive an economy then irate aristocrats seeking revenge and throwing their wealth around to get it.

I would like to see an idea like this catch on it some way. Not as a means for trolling or pettiness, but more of a way to earn/spend while engaging in "Cowboy Diplomacy". Devs really dont have to get involved and keep it classic Bounty Hunter cliche.

A basic outline of a contract that I can think of:

Wanted: ---
Faction: ---
Date: ---
Info: ---

Conditions: ---
Reward: ---

An Example:

Wanted: Joe Doe
Faction: Horde
Date: September 2,1822

Info: Last Seen around Booty Bay. Ambushed me and camped my corpse. Had one Pally friend for heals.

Conditions: Snapshot of Combat/Body, Piece of Gear

Reward: 10k Gold, 10DP, any looted gear from target.

I guess what Im asking for is permission to post said bounties in the forums or appropriate places, maybe see if anyone would be willing to participate. Obiviously its a system thatll depend on the willingness of the Hunter and the allure of the reward. Anyone that would renege will be blacklisted from future bounties by the community and all trades should be well documented. Devs can arbitrate any disputes by treating them as trade scamming (at their discretion, of course).

@BlkRobedMage I gotta say this sounds like a really fun idea! I could really see that it would create a cool incentive for world PvP and create some interesting social interactions. Why don't you post it in the "Suggestions" section here on the forums?

My Area-52 toon, RickSanchez, has created the charter for the "Bounty Hunters" guild. I'm looking for any players who want to engage in PvP action, chasing down the rogues and bullies of the server for bounties and avenging the victims. Send me an in-game mail if you're interested!
