How Many Characters Do *You* Make?

Hi all,
I'm new to Ascension and I was wondering, for Season 8 characters do you go 1-for-All builds/stats with Tomes or All-for-1 stat (eg. 1 STR, 1 AGI, 1 INT, 1 SPI)? Maybe a middle ground of 1 STR/AGI and 1 INT/SPI?
I started out with MFB for spec 1, then decided to try Defias Gunslinger for spec 2. Bank space has become a huge issue with INT and AGI for swaps while levelling, as well as having 16 spaces reserved for the other spec's current best max level gear. Not to mention the crap I throw in there for future me to deal with (I don't like past me too much).
So I got to thinking: what do you folks do?
