So I know incoming magic damage is 5x normal. But when combined with a talent that reduces magic damage by 1% for example, is it (1-.01)x5=495% or (1x5)-.01=499% ?

That said, 5k fire damage on an instant cast from a lvl46 mob is a bit much, right?

And I had 4.5k hp so I wasn't running a weak character. Oh well, character deleted, on to the next one, I will beat this damn triple challenge someday!

Found it, for anyone else coming into the topic later, it's at C:\Program Files\Ascension Launcher\resources\client

On my laptop, changing Ascension.exe in that folder to high performance switched me to the good GPU. Hooray.

I'm having the same issue. In order to change it in my laptop setting (Which yes, absolutely will let me fix this) I need to know where the ascension launcher put the game executable.

What's the install location used by the launcher?
