Newbie Healer has some questions

I feel there used to be a way to Heal myself without untargeting the tank last time I played WoW many years ago. Is there a keybind or something that lets me heal myself while still targeting the tank so I don't have to untarget?
I was also wondering, after I reached level 50+, my healing dropped a ton while in dungeons. Been doing dungeons for a while and usually my healing is great until level 50. Why is this?? I also don't have any gold to buy gear from the auction house so I dunno how else to get better gear other than classic dungeons and they're always Rare/blue and never Epic/purple. Trouble is, because my healing is low now, I can't keep people alive as well as I used to be able to.

I used to use 2 bars for Healing spells - Bottom bar with Mouseover macros of my healing spells and a separate bar above with the same spells with [@player] Macros

You want to be using HealBot instead of clicking around trying to target players or clicking party frames.

HealBot is the best gift you can give yourself as a healer.

Make sure you set your Primary Stat to Spirit on the Ascension spec interface. If you think your spec is bad try out one of the premade builds people put up in the spec interface, theres a button there to look at builds and automatically load them onto your character.

Stack Spell Power and you should be on your way.
