BG Healing

So just finished playing a 60-69 BG where the other team had 4 healing characters. We had 1 player healing. You could not hardly kill anyone on the other team due to the amount of healing they were getting.
Is this the way this game is going to remain for BGS?
Why is there no reduction in healing or take away the reduction in damage. Do the developers play healing classes or something and refuse to address the issue?
Makes no sense to me. Would like to hear game developers point of view on this item.

@Pips sorry but in BG you heal for only 50%
and what i write almost all time healer can be in bg DPS too but tank almos can not be here (when you are bear you can be here
) that is why i write for make all taunts skills like target lock on user(in pvp) = less single target heals, tank can take more damage from dps and defend healers in his team

I agree that healers in BGs are a problem, especially while leveling. I have found that they can almost always heal through 2 dps focused on them. I don't know what I would do about it, but I would start with making it so that they heal themselves less than they heal others. Focusing them should be the correct thing to do, but it often feels so hopeless when they have a couple healers lol

@Rubis like i write too many times give more power to tanks in pvp make taunt skills work like in lineage 2 (skill in lineage aggression)
when tank in lineage 2 use his taunt skill on player all single target skill will be use only on this tank heal or damage skill (this make healer heals enemy player and can not heal self) and this effect work for 5 sec in lineage 2 with 8 sec CD in WoW even if this will work for 3 sec with 8 sec CD will be good in pvp/BGs and this give tanks in pvp possibility defend his team players (which is the work of tanks)(aoe heals that no need target have no change)

@WiliemDemon You can "tank" in pvp without having taunt. There are a lot of mechanics like transferring damage from an ally to yourself (hand of sacrifice, intervene) to spellstealing and spell reflecting RE's, to generally building a tanky character with lots of avoidance and defensive CD's and CC. Just don't expect it to deal damage of have meaningful healing, you'd need other players to do these jobs for you, you can't do much solo besides being annoying. So group up with a bunch of friends or guildies if you're gonna try this.

@Vulpinenin i know this but what is most annoying on the healer in BGs ? (i think 1 target heal skill like holy light, healing touch, ..... this heal can heal for +-8K in BGs(+-15k in raid) and can be cast in 1 sec and interrupt effect is max for 4 sec and with this taunt will be better fight against healers (more or less))
an i like play healers or tank class and hate dps and for me when i am in BG with me heal i heal for
k with prayer of healing (no need know number becose i no like get nerf for me build
)

@Rubis No offense, but you obviously have no idea what you're talking about from a game design point of view. Healers have always been survivable since Vanilla FOR A REASON.
Just listen to what you said. You already admitted that targeting the healer is the correct thing to do. Targeting healers IS what dps tends to do too.
You think you're frustrated now, try being everyone's favorite target. You already admitted YOU do it. Do you have any idea what it's like when everyone in the BG wants to single YOU out, all the time?
Healers need to be able to tank while healing because they get way more player-aggro than you. It's that simple.

@Svennin Aight, but then here comes the problem when you have a healer that can survive 5 dps with heal reduction and ccs and stall the game for several minutes, thats not a healthy design. I think main problem with healers is not the healing, but mana cost... too often i see healers in PVP under pressure of 2+ players and their mana is not dropping at all, count in the fact that often there are more than just one healer.

In truth it would be fine but a good set up and its endless mana.Thats the thing that make healers so cancer in bgs.
One in battle in a bg they should not be able to stay at 100% mana and heal half to 70% of a persons hp per heal . -

I thought the same to at first! But go into a level 70 BG and you realize its much more than on live Servers again. People are geared and 3 shot you in a 3 sec window in a single stun.
While levelling DPS suck hard without decked out twink geared chars. But at 70 its a different game.

I agree with your point, and since the game is like that, I try to either not play Melee in BGs or dont do them at all till max level.
Most of the time Hillsbrad pops up, enemy team got healers, but you cant go in or you are Autofocus and Dead in 2 seconds. Fun game designt. Its all about Healers and Ranges.
The dmg reduction at lower levels in BGs is to much, you cant even kill a target in a perfectly set up cc-chain + counter etc. -

This conversation is ridiculous.
It literally only takes 2 ability essences and 2 talent points to defeat just about any healer.

Its not tho even with cc if theres more thin 1 healer it can be allmost inpossible to kill them if they have any idea of what there doing.10-69 bg are won 99% of the time based off who has more/better healers.There more thin enough skill that lower cc dur to make healers gods in bg in the 10-69.
some bg more thin others the hills brad map is 100% decided by healers.
Other bgs less but still plays a huge part.And u should not be forced to take every cc in the game just to counter 1 type kind of defeats the point build how u want to lol.
