Rare Quality Talent amount.
Currently I'm finding that the cap of 10/10 for Rare Quality amount is limiting a lot of Builds I'm trying to make.
I'm fine with the other Rarities as they are, but can we get an increase of Rare to perhaps 16 or so? Or just reduce the cost of things like Totems or Passive DPS Buffs to only cost 1 Rare instead of 2.
10 feels extremely restrictive and makes me feel pigeonholed into specific Talents with no real room to customise. I'm even getting to the point where since so many non-rarity Spells are completely useless to me, I have spare Ability Points just sitting on my Character at level 60 that I'd much rather put into some other rare skills.

@Enkidu Interesting comment, wonder if you choose a certain mode, certain abilities cost less or more. Probably harder to implement than I can casually imagine though.
@Demb A similar line of thought emerges everytime pve takes it in the face due to pvp.

The short answer is as long as pvp is used to justify pve changes the only real solution is to split them entirely. This has been proven by the long long long (Sarcasm) list of games that balance pvp and pve changes without splitting them.
Goddamn it Devs, can you please rethink this Rarity system. Everytime I go to try a new Build it gets cockblocked by this shitty rarity system.

16 i think is too high and feel rare is in the best spot. 16 leads to way to many homogenized builds but maybe 2 or 4 more points wouldn't be too bad. Now the Epic enchants are way to restrictive. Some full legacy builds can't be made (legacy frost mage). It could benefit from at least 2 more points being added 4 max IMO. The others are fine but maybe add 1 more point for legendary.

Wtf do you even mean. Having less leads to more homogenized builds. Because People pick the couple of "best rares" for their LE and then nothing else and Everyone more or less becomes the same since there are a few rares that are just vital to the vast majority of Role types like Melee DPS.
More Rares allows people to customise outside of the set main skills they need.
@Zhakrath Well there needs to be some sort of trade off so they can help balance things so there is more class diversity. Perhaps something as simple as transfer 1 legendary for 2 epics, and 3 epics for 4 rares.
Just play on Area 52 server. No restrictions there. Problem solved.

I think these should only cost 1 Rare Slot. Armors (Mage, Lock, Aspects) should cost only 1, Shaman Totems should only cost one, Dispels should only be 1, and Mana Regens 1.
In pvp if people want to invest heavy into Dispels..etc just make it cost more mana while pvp flagged or give it a longer CD.
