      Ascension sounds great, building what you want, how you want is a fantastic idea.... So where does it fail utterly ???

      Easy, when the worst kind of gameplay absolutely dominates an aspect of the game, the most obvious example of this in Asceniosn is BG PVP, which is utterly and completely ruined by groups of players fear/cc spamming to the point where there is NO gameplay left, you either have to join the ranks of the players ruining the gameplay or you have to ruin a spec by putting so much anti Fear/CC in it that it ends up useless

      I enjoyed leveling a couple of alts, and then hit the 70 + BG's my passion, having done 16 years from Vanilla on WOW in PVP,

      3 months of that experience, have left me convinced that the DEV's simply don't care, no diminishing returns on fear or CC spam in a game where those players who enjoy killing a player who cant fight back can take every stun, fear and CC available to every class then group up with others doing the same to chain constantly has ruined the game for me, ill go back maybe to vanilla and i see dozens of players saying the same thing in every BG

        @OldBonesUK I agree and to add more. Who had the ideia of giving us a limited amount of interrupts, closers, and also 53% less pvp dmg 25% less crit dmg BUT not a single healing limitation. That is only the surface level but yes pvp is awful here.

            I think they could be more inspired by the game lineage 2 because this game is mostly made on massive pvp games such as conquering the castle there are over 50 players on the side of the defender and 50+ on the side of the attacker (of course on servers where more players play so it can also be +-500 players)

            in lineage 2 before you hit player you insta go in pvp mode = make less damage, heal,

            in lineage 2 you can have clan (for WoW guild) skills that make passive bonus like +10% stun resist (resist in lineage give = like tank class have shield stun skill 1 sec CD and stun enemy for 6 sec but with clan resist lvl 3 -30% chance you will be stun and -30% stun time)

            next what lineage have is CP (second HP bar) and this CP work only against players and have +-70% your normal hp and what is good on this CP is in lineage some class have vampire damage effect (= 40% or more(max 90%) damage go like heal for user) and from this CP you no get any vampire heal

            and becose this CP is specific class (overlord/dominator) who can heal this CP (normal heal can not heal CP)(overlord/dominator is clan(guild) support class = buff all in clan(guild) in 100 yards+- and can same time heal normal hp (no good heal) and CP for all party and clan(guild) players (700 cp heal per 5 sec+-and max cp when i play was 10k+-))

            in lineage taunt skills work on players for 4 sec (8 sec CD or less) and when you taunt player this player will be lock only on tank for 4 sec (can not 1 target heal on self 1 target heal heal tank = healer class can use only aoe heal skills for 4 sec = lose more mana)

            and i write this taunt mechanic too long for suggestions becose i think this lock can be good in pvp on this classless WoW = tanks can be in pvp too and no only DPS and healers

            and for more info classless 1st attempt(+- in 2008) was in lineage 2 but for this game is almost imposible to make balanced 😞

              I seriously doubt theyre going to change the whole game lol

              Issue is people pick dumb stuff like no stun remeovals ( and theres alot of them ) and also no cc spells themselves. They spend points on portals for example instead. They go into bgs with half assed builds that dont work for crap and half the time wearing pve gear or not so good bf gear . I see these same people over and over with no new gear ..

              This game NEEDS rated bgs to keep those who want to continue to spec and gear this way away from those who actually enjoy bgs because they dont have fun dieing a million times and those who enjoy bgs and spec correctly are not gimped by having those on their team....

              Also the only ones in bgs i see saying their going back to classic or retail would honestly be doing us all a favor

                Yes, we need rated BGs and shit in PvP for small gear improvement like the people that do PvE Mythic+ and Ascended for gears.

                  @Eatmyswords for me personally this PVP and PVE items (stat) make only bad becose you are only PVE player or PVP player or need more space in bags(bank) for full set

                  I would rather when we no have this pvp/pve stats but pvp upgrade for only weapons and chest part of the armor which would only work against players (same like blooded items right now but pvp)

                  ((again in me favourite lineage2 game weapon like dagger when you upgrade this weapon any
                  melee damage you make cancel random buff from your target with +- 8% chance, Mage Weapons 15% chance to increase mage haste by 10% for 15s when using attack magic, Bows/Crossbows/gun 15% chance to increase range attack speed by 10% for 15s when attacking, ...) and becose it is chance in this weapons/armors = no have any CD = when you have luck can have this effect all time +5% more damage against players or defense in armor like bonus for all bonus (chance effects))

                  (with this all pvp sets can be pve too and all pve sets can be pvp too and no need use blooded items)

                  i no know but i think this will make more fun in pvp/pve game style
