Profission. need more Love.
has the Classeless idea is Genius. this WOW mod need some innovations in profession. Field has well. so here some ideas da might come Handy.
- Make ALL PLAYERS, able to learn gathering skills, Mining, Herbalism and Skinning.
WHY? to supply the Action house whit regents, in reasonable prices.
- Allow us to buy more professions whit cash bough items, that will also able to be sold in action houses.
the fact you have 2 Crafting professions, and ALL resource gathering will encourage people of getting more professions, more opportunity for Cash to the DEV.s
- Allow Guild Crafting, it,s already a guild feature in Blizzard WOW, but will be nice to have it in the ascension has well.
Encourage people of doing professions , has the gathering skills are for everyone, everyone will like a crafter in guild.
increase the raw materials in the world. 3 more minerals, 3 more Herbs and more leather from skinning will do nice has well.
make professions items MORE powerful na dropped ones,
I see that the entire items of the game has be changed do the classless system. so it,s interesting give a buff and some changes in overall items of profession.
Nothing bad, but this stinks of pay to win, but otherwise I'm in favor of having more professions than just 2. And that's why I wrote this https://forum.ascension.gg/topic/957/upgrade-your-race-abilities-2nd-try and I wrote it also because a certain race is op for a certain role (or not op but with a great advantage) (Night Elf = tank becose Quickness give +2% dodge, Human = heal becose +3% spirit (or spirit spell dps),Gnome = cast dps becose +3% int (or now int tank) )
And i know it is no too much this 2% or 3% but in this game it is like 100 int or spirit on lvl 70 (lvl 80 will be more ) and me suggestion give more or less balance but more chose to pick your racial skills for your role you like play. By the way, I play Tauren and tank or healer and the +500 hp from racial or stun with cast 0.5 sec while your 100% block doesn't work is kind of laughable

the only P2W feature will be buy more Proficion slots, since gathering skills (mining,Herbalism,skining) will be avaliable for everone for free.
hoever, you might expect people to have multiple proficions, it would be intereting to have at least one extra crafiting proficion bought whith gold. maybe 1000 gold will do.

so I thought it was for Donate, but if you wrote to buy another profession for gold or donations, it would be more understandable
But even so, I think that something should be done about racial abilities as well and what I proposed is not balanced (yet), but it would still add another possibility to play (to kill some time) on A52. And mainly the destruction of characters from those seasonal servers that, in a way, no one uses anymore.
I've been playing almost since the beginning and I had +- 5 characters in each season and I don't think those seasons will end, so what about those characters? If WoTLK will be +- in 5 years, it will still be 5x5 characters as a minimum +30 (-8) which I already have.
I wrote what could be done, but somehow no one likes it or is not interested in it, and with what I wrote, everyone could have fewer characters that would be slightly stronger (like 1st char with all professions, 2nd char for better tank, 3rd char for better heal, 4th char for better DPS ) but here we come across the fact that we have small backpacks.
I understand, has the game aleardy have 4 especializations, it will encourage people of having only one character.
still. like you say, racial bonuses will impact in what the character can do. tanking, healing, dps i don,t care whicth. will be only reason to have more that one charcacter.
maybe, i could make you choice one stat increse? be it 3 percent? that,s is a good question.

With what I have already suggested, I personally, since I always play tanks / healers, my main character would look like this (approximately)
I like play Taurens = main race will be Tauren that will give me :
- Endurance rank 3 = +7% stamina or -5% damage taken
- nature resistance rank 3 = 4% or 3% and aura for party(nature)
- cultivation rank 3 = 2nd chose 50% chance get 2x more herbs
- War stomp rank 3 = 40 sec CD and 12 yards stun
- purebred Tauren bonus (1x active + 1x pasive skill)
- and get 2x professions slots
- next racials i will pick will be
- quickness rank 3 = +4% dodge (or +4% haste) from 3x lvl up Night Elf
- the human spirit rank 3 = +7% spirit from 3x lvl up Human
- and 4x bonus i no know right now becose i wrote new race suggestions where is good racials bonus too
And all this can have anyone on his main char too and can be human only what can be changed will be purebred bonus but this purebred bonus no need be in game (and it would then be more balanced)
And I would then consider racially something as permanent talents now with chose (right now 2% dodge for bear tank or any is good with this can get +4% but need lvl up 3x night elf char)
