Conquest of Azeroth Specialization Selection

Hey everyone,
I'm playing CoA for the first time and I'm to the level where I should be able to select a spec but it's not letting me. When I try to learn something from the tree it says I am missing connecting entries, and every time I level up it tells me "missing required entry Conquest of Azeroth Specialization...". Am I missing something? How do select a spec?
