Legendary RE: Wailing Quiver
-
Your arrows are now generated with black magic, which causes your Hunter shots to cost no ammo. Aimed Shot and Steady Shot criticals extend the duration of Black Arrow by 3 seconds and grant you Baneful Impact, which increases the damage of your Curse of Agony by 40% and 10% of your attack power for 6 seconds, stacking up to 2 times. Instant Poison now applies a debuff that increases the Shadow damage taken by your target by 10%, stacking up to 3 times.
Your Chimera Shot is transformed into Black Shot, an ability that deals 150% weapon damage and scales with Chimera Shot modifiers. In addition, it causes Black Arrow to tick 50% faster over its duration. Dealing periodic damage with Black Arrow has a 30% chance to grant you Wailing Quiver, causing your next Aimed Shot to deal additional Shadow damage and apply Curse of Agony while maintaining its current damage level.
Killing an enemy afflicted by Black Arrow refreshes its cooldown and inflicts Curse of Agony to all enemies within 10 yards, maintaining the damage level of the victim’s curse.
(Requires a bow and does not work with Hunter pets or demons. <- it would make sense themewise)

@Zentrix it's a bit much, i like the concept, but CoA is already quite strong, maybe you could make it so that sorrowfull impact gives 10 % AP as Shadow SP stacking 5 times and instant poison apply a debuff that increases shadow damage the target takes by 10 % stacking 3 times.
Otherwise i like the Black Shot and duration extension. -
@Chappinhas hey, about your suggestions, i think that your idea on instant poison applying a debuff which increases Shadow damage is very interesting and i am considering it.
However, i wanted CoA (not any other DoTs) to deal a significant portion of the damage around this RE, which is why i made it so that it could be reapplied while simultaneously not losing its stacks. As you know, the damage of CoA builds up as it reaches its full duration. The purpose of this RE is to maintain CoA at its maximum damage.
Perhaps this concept is unpractical, since it takes some time for the damage to build up but i can't figure out how to make CoA an actual viable DoT without being able to reapply it.

@Zentrix perhaps the '' duration cannot go beyond it's maximum '' effect we see in some RE, maybe black arrow ticks could add 2 seconds to CoA and instant poison could proc a tick of the current CoA on the target, in addition the maximum tick damage of CoA is increased by 50% provided the black arrow keeps hitting ( wich would work great with the 50% speed increase from black shot)?
I would forgetthe AoE tho , thematically i think its cooler to have a single minded marksman .
I am very suspicious of Coa XD
